Marie-Sophie Beinke is an interdisciplinary artist and publisher for M-S B Verlag. Her artistic medium of expression is language, which is reflected in performance, painting, installation, publishing and writing. She addresses and focuses on violence and conflict and thematizes political, social and humanitarian issues, often in close collaboration and exchange with other artists and institutions. The interactions between the artist, the environment and the audience forms the basis of her practice. The artist also focuses on artist’s publications (book, ephemera, multiple, mail and post art) as a means of revealing and archiving her practice. She is a co-founder of 7032 km – collective.
